Underworld Of Underground Music:

The 3rd Quarter is around the block & it looks like the young Bronx Artist is on his way to take over the Underworld of Underground Music with this New body of work, filled with substance. INTIKANA has a real love for his people, that he uses his art & ideas in a way to make those less fortunate feel there true worth, even if its for a day. The perfect video to show one of the ways he helps so many,”AMISTAD” in how he went & did a music video about friendship with not only an artist from out there in Cuba but also kids who now have seen that they can also do these extraordinary things because of INTIKANA’s courage to conquer his dreams & change the world for better, while he is on his journey.

In 2010, INTIKANA traveled to Cuba and attended their annual SIMPOSIO DE HIP HOP CUBANO which is an interdisciplinary series of events consisting of performances, workshops, film screenings, and other activities that take place over several days in August. While there, he met artists from all around the world and managed to record four songs before returning to the Bronx. One of these songs were entitled “AMISTAD” which, in spanish, means “Friendship.” Upon building a strong friendship with Miki Flow and Brebaje Man of Cuban Hip Hop group EXPLOSIÓN SUPREMA, INTIKANA visited Micro X of Alamar, Cuba where the island’s Hip Hop was born. Directed & edited by INTIKANA, the “Amistad” music video documents his life-changing trip, the people he met, and it speaks on maintaining a true friendship across borders, despite the political tensions that exist between Cuba and the United States. The song also features Cuban female emcees/singers Indiana and La Real.

INTIKANA is finally breaking through & being rewarded for all his efforts to stand up to those who bring death & harm to our people. The young artist, activist, Rebel has been all around the world to influence positive change on the injustices in the world.

I ‪#‎believe‬ there are ‪#‎obstacles‬ in ‪#‎life‬ that are meant to ‪#‎challenge‬ us. To ‪#‎test‬ our ‪#‎will‬, ‪#‎drive‬, and ‪#‎character‬. We often say we want ‪#‎success‬ but how bad do we want it!? We might even ‪#‎complain‬ because we feel other people have what we want or what we think we want. Over the past few years, I’ve learned that ‪#‎excuses‬ only sound good to the people making them. I’ve had so many moments where I felt like giving up but something kept pulling me. A voice inside saying, “This isn’t the end! This is only a small chapter in a very large book.” I realized that success really is what you make it. We have to meet our dreams more than half way. We must visualize, see it in our minds, and make it happen. Simple as that. Do it! Ideas are only ideas until you have a plan and execute that plan. I’m seriously taking things to the next level. I have to. You never know when your last day on this Earth is gonna arrive. I’ve been visualizing the future since a child. Now, I can honestly say I’m living my ‪#‎dreams‬. I have so much more in ‪#‎store‬. In ‪#‎due‬ ‪#‎time‬ though. Thank you all for your ‪#‎patience‬ and for believing in me. The best has yet to come! ‪#‎Intikana‬ ‪#‎SwayInTheMorning‬ @realsway ‪#‎Sway‬ ‪#‎Shade45‬ ‪#‎SiriusXM‬ ‪#‎Radio‬ ‪#‎Live‬ ‪#‎Minneapolis‬ ‪#‎Soundset‬ @thehappyhourwhb @swayinthemorning @itstracyg ‪#‎DreamsDoComeTrue‬Intikana Kekoeia ONLY ON ‪#‎HkMusicWorld‬ enjoy ‪#‎EffenVodka‬
